I have nearly finished constructing the fragmented pyramid pieces, am left with about two more pieces at the top. As for the illustrations, I have finished sketching the ones on the outside panel and have to proceed with making the coloured ones for the inner panel. A problem that I might encounter is that when I was constructing the pyramid, the base was initially 10 by 10 inches but the fragmented pyramid is slightly bigger because of the space in-between and the folding of the paper. As such I would have to make a bigger illustration and cut them down to fit the actual fragmented pieces. Another problem I might encounter would be the issue of stringing everything together such that the pyramid is able to suspend freely. Initially I wanted to have the pyramid suspend freely when held from the top but in order to make sure that the pyramid is able to piece back together properly when placed on the table I decided to create a board with 4 corners stuck to the base of it for the placement of the pyramid. I am also considering glueing the base of the pyramid pieces to the board and only have the other fragments suspend when lifted.
